Rental Assistance Program

In Prince George's County, the temporary Emergency Rental Assistance Program is available to help with rent and utility payments for tenants whose employment income has been negatively impacted by COVID-19. Depending upon need, applicants may be eligible for a maximum of up to $1,800 per month for a maximum of up to three months of emergency rental assistance. Learn more.

Prince George’s County Department of Social Services - Housing & Homeless Services
The Prince George’s County Department of Social Services provides information, assistance and referrals to County residents who are facing homelessness or an eviction.

Prince George’s County Department of Social Services - Emergency Shelter
Emergency shelters are places for people to live temporarily when they can't live in their previous residence.​
​
Prince George’s County is opening a quarantine facility for residents who are tested for COVID-19 by our Health Department but are not able to safely quarantine or self-isolate at home.
